A free, confidential community for men and couples facing fertility challenges
Male factor infertility affects millions of couples, yet men are so often left to navigate it in silence — and their partners alongside them. The Male Fertility Hub exists to change that. Built by men who have lived through it, for everyone the journey touches.

We built the support we wish we'd had
Both of us were told, in clinical rooms, that we were infertile. What followed was something the appointments never prepared us for — the isolation, the shame, the silence. Medical treatment was available. Emotional support was not.
We found each other, and then we found others.
It started with six men sitting in a circle on the grass in Hyde Park, sharing what we'd each been through.
For some of us, it was the first time we'd spoken openly about any of it with people who truly understood. That conversation changed something.
If six men in a park could feel that kind of relief, how many more were out there navigating this alone? The Male Fertility Hub grew from that moment — and from the wives, partners and families who carried us through it, and who deserve support of their own.

Two men who have lived it — and built something from it
The Male Fertility Hub was founded by Shaun Greenaway and Ciaran Hannington, who turned their own fertility journeys into a place where no one has to face it alone.
Shaun Greenaway
Shaun was diagnosed with Azoospermia and knows first-hand the heartache, shame and secrecy of being told, as a man, that he has no sperm. He navigated it alone — there were no support networks for men at the time, something he became determined to change.
Through the hardest of it, his wife Jenna was beside him every step — and together they are now proud parents to twins conceived through donor sperm. An accredited Transformational Coach, Shaun began breaking the stigma by sharing his story openly through his blog, Knackered Knackers, and co-hosts The Male Fertility Podcast.
Ciaran Hannington
In 2012, Ciaran was told he was infertile — news that triggered a battle with isolation, grief and his mental health. Repeated failed ICSI attempts and a heartbreaking miscarriage deepened the struggle. With his wife's support, he focused on what he could control, drawing on his background in Sport and Exercise Science to rebuild his health.
His son Sebastian arrived in 2016, and his daughter Enya in 2020. Ciaran now supports other men as The Male Fertility PT, and co-hosts The Male Fertility Podcast with Shaun.
The hub where everything happens
It is also where our online events live — support groups, expert webinars and men's panels — all hosted inside the community. Find out what's coming up, join in, stay connected with others who understand, and feel less alone and more supported at every stage.
The everyday conversation is the heartbeat: an always-on chat where you can ask a question, share an update, or simply read along. Around it sit dedicated groups for however you need support — men-only, women-only, couples, and topic-specific groups for the parts of the journey that matter most to you.
His is the heart of The Male Fertility Hub. A private, confidential space where men and their partners can speak openly about every part of the journey — and where everything we do comes together in one place.
Post regularly or follow quietly. Take part as yourself or anonymously. There's no pressure — just take what you need, when you need it.
